The West Lancashire Carers Sitting in Service is committed to introducing specially matched volunteer visitors to support unpaid family carers at home.

The Sitting in Service is designed to enable carer(s) to take short, timely respite breaks away from their caring responsibilities with peace of mind.

Our group of friendly and specially matched volunteers also offer companionship and practical assistance to disabled people of any age and to older people who strive to live independently alone, at home, without a dedicated family carer.
